Christmas Fun Days prove to be a huge success!

Christmas is always a balancing act for parents who need to work and organise the festivities ahead. Christmas can be a stressful time for many, so it is great to be able to support local families with a free to attend event. Due to our new partnership with Active Essex Foundation, we were able to acquire some government funding that enabled local children to come and enjoy everything the centre has to offer.

Leading up to Christmas and between Christmas and New Year, we ran a total of 7 days of fun packed activity for local children to enjoy the superb Ultimate Ninja UK course, don some Sumo suits, high-octane Nerf Wars and several other activities which also included a fabulous lunch for everyone involved. Indeed, we had so much food, people were taking some home with them. It was great to see just how engaged the children were for a solid three hours of fun, adventure, and food.

In total, 175 slots were filled across the seven days (25 per day), and the feedback from parents and the children who attended was amazing. Indeed, it was a very rewarding period for our staff, and everyone involved.

The funding itself is an initiative for kids to keep active, and sport/activities like Ultimate Ninja have been proven to help children stimulate their minds, stay active and keep them from roaming the streets.

With future funding becoming available, we will be looking to create more fun day events at Ultimate Ninja UK, with a huge variety of activities, collectively to help local children, some of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds and need the support in the community from organisations like us at Ultimate Ninja UK.

The Christmas Fun Days were such a huge success, we cannot wait to welcome back children and their families to our future free events.

Keep an eye out for announcements around our forthcoming events on our website, social media and in the centre itself.
